Introduction
Darfur, a country that is located in the western Sudan (Thomson Reuters foundation, 2014, par 1), finds itself to be one of the territories that is the richest in oil resources, as well as being a large quantity of high purity uranium and copper. (Flounders, 2006, par 23) The Darfur has found itself in a conflict has gone on for a multitude of years, and many aspects are to blame. However, one of the aspects that play one of the major roles in this conflict is the economy. How has the economical aspects affected the Darfur conflict? Well, the economical aspect has played a key components when it comes to causing this conflict because of the battle over the oil, the redistribution of the wealth among the citizens, as well as who controls these resources.
